Dear friends and colleagues,
In a life time there are always periods that have a start and also an end.
More than 13 years I have now been in different leading positions in the ETC and I was the chairman for pretty much more than 7 years. During that long period, I can say in all humbleness that it was me as a main motor, who brought the ETC to its size, quality, awareness and reputation that it has now. I invested a lot of time, energy and heart blood into it… ETC was my baby.
Now, with a heavy heart and due to different serious health problems, it is time for me to say good-bye and I herewith announce my resignation as the ETC chairman by the end of 2021. In same time also my wife Helen will leave the team as the head of office.
I have been thinking about this decision for quite a while and I can imagine that this comes surprisingly and hard to digest for you all. But don’t worry, the ETC is stronger than ever and in good hands with a professional ETC management team. Details about its future will be published later on.
Helen and I are grateful and thankful for all we could learn and implement in that time… and we enjoyed every minute with all of you in the community!
